Note: In the future, I will have 3 Blog types: Narrative, Journal and Call to Action. The narrative style will look like a third person description of current events and an “eagle’s eye perspective” on these event. The journal style will be less structured and mainly focused on describing my thoughts, feelings and actions in a given scenario. The call to action style will contain a lesson I have learned recently and how I plan to use it during my World Race journey and beyond. Call to actions will also include a reflection question in hopes of providing a general application.
This blog is in journal style.
Today, I am flying out to the World Race base camp in Georgia, while thinking of you all. Whether you’re my family, friend or connection, I am thinking of you. I am also praying for you.
As this plane takes me thousands of feet in the air, my mind flies towards the heavens where our good Father sits on the clouds. He is above everything and yet, He is also living inside of us. Like the air we breathe, our Heavenly Father exists in, through and outside of us. But unlike the air we breathe, outer space does not constrict our Father. Nothing constricts our Father.
As I go out in my journey, I would like to ask for prayer. Our prayers fly just as high as the Father presides and in this way, we can be sure He hears our words.
Please pray for:
- That I would make good connections with my teammates while in Georgia.
Do not forget that you are in my prayers as well! Do not hesitate to reach out to me by email or messaging with any words the Lord has spoken or any prayers being answered in your life or in the lives of others! While I may not reply promptly due to my schedule as a “World Racer”, I cherish the ability to share in the joys and sorrows of those I already love and know!
Many Blessings, Lia.
