So what does Christmas in Malaysia look like for D Squad?

(Dec 15-18th: Christmas Caroling at a spiritually divided home. Notice the cross right beside a picture of an idol. This is not uncommon due to the mixed religious atmosphere.)

(Dec 15-18: Also Christmas caroling! The lady in front is the owner of the house and is one of the Sungai Petani Christian church leaders.)

(A random Friday: Mia and I decked out once again for Friday church service. We have church services 7 days per week and Friday is the obligatory service which we come dressed in our traditional Indian dress and usually participate in Tambourine dancing!)

(Dec 20th: Bowling in Malaysia for Kynsies 19th birthday! Shout out to Scotland: I tried curving the ball! Epic fail, but still so fun. Fun fact: Almost none of my squad mates know what candlepin bowling is!)

(Dec 21st: Skylar, Rissa and I riding in one of the ministry vans to Penang for a special Christmas church service! ETA back home was 12am! Not bad!)

(Dec 21st: The couple in the back, Casture who is Pastor Thomas’s wife, Carter, Me, Rissa and Skylar all at the banquet style restaurant for the special church service.)

(Dec 21st: At the same location with P.T. or Pastor Thomas, Rissa, Me, Skylar and Carter!)

(Dec 21st: Another photo! Now with one of the church families, minus the husband whose name is Moses. Moses drives us in the vans and also serves us noodles with his noodle stand occasionally! Shakina is the little one in red, then Skylar, Moses’ wife, Justin the boy in blue, Abishege the energetic little lady on my lap, Me, Rissa and Carter!)

(Dec 23rd: Ellie, Carter, Macie, Me, Rissa and Braden with our Rohingyan friends! We spent the morning visiting various houses in their little village. I made particular friends with the two girls in front of me name Bebe and Fatin. We unlocked our Christmas caroling skills and had a blast!)

I would like to share a song some of my team and I created while in the van to Christmas caroling! After a couple late nights (or early mornings) of our caroling, the creative spirit flowed to form the
