(
Friday, Nov 7th: Behind the desk view of our care point! This building is the base for all care points meaning the leaders from other care points drive to our base for Monday devotional and meetings. On a daily basis, however, we use this room for attendance, song practice and skit rehearsals!)

(Tuesday, Oct 21st: Me and my team are praying over a family during our house visit. We often use a form of prayer called “waterfall” prayer where every person prays aloud at the same time, allowing us all to petition to the Lord without fearing any misunderstanding. Still, one person usually closes the prayer.)

(Tuesday, Oct 28th: Don’t be scared! This was during a skit rehearsal. I was showing Mary how scared she should be of the angel Gabriel. At least THAT scared!)

(Tuesday, Oct 28th: Ella and I after her Swazi style birthday party. She’s 19! We all dressed up for her little celebration as shown in the team group photo!)

(Tuesday, Nov 11th: This was another house visit some of my team went to. Me, Ella, Skylar and Rissa came and delivered a package of rice and chatted with the family while coddling the little ones. It was so sweet and as you can see, my hand is claimed by one of the children.)

(Sunday, Nov 9th: Rissa and I are on our way home from Swazi Church with our friends! These friends join us on the road as we take our 30ish minute walk to church. Church is a fun experience full of dancing, boisterous singing and clapping, as well as a lot of Hallelujah’s and Amen’s!)

(Friday, Oct 31: This sign is commonplace in the town of St. Lucia, South Africa. Hippos are not friendly to passersby. While we didn’t see any hippos on our 3 day excursion into St. Lucia, we kept a 7 o’clock curfew just in case! St. Lucia is an ocean town- the majestic Indian Ocean!)

THANK YOU for being here! I hope you have enjoyed these photos!

Please keep praying for:

  • The ability to cherish every moment and not leave anything undone during my last few days here in Eswatini with my friends!

With care,

Lia.
